I think that there is a difference between a human who is driven by appetite and a human who lives by principle. A human, driven by appetite, is chasing the money, looking for sex, and indulging in recreational drugs, enjoys getting drunk, and says and does what it takes to ‘get ahead.’ A human who lives by principle is not governed by the desires of ‘the flesh.’ Instead, that human looks at the world around him and adjusts his life to rather doing the thing that is good for everybody. Hopefully, he gets something out of it for himself, but if not, then he is content to do without.

Amazing job on this article. I loved all the sections, particularly the one on evolved humans. I've literally seen these personalities come and go right in front of my eyes. I know people who are driven by appetite. I also know people who live by principle.

And everything that you've said about the two types totally reflects what I see out there in the real world.
