The world is as unhealthy as it’s ever been. Millions of people are suffering from diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and other such lifestyle diseases.
And regardless of everything else, what is the one thing that’s common to all these people? Sitting.
Sitting all day at a job to complete a given number of tasks in order to earn a living. We all know that one is supposed to put in the hours at work to reach the peak of their careers, painstakingly climbing that ladder often toiling on important projects for weeks together sacrificing sleep, fitness, and healthy eating in their quest for prestigious workplace accolades. However, no amount of workplace success, experience, or knowledge can cancel out hours spent hunched over a computer screen day in and day out, and the detrimental effects of those actions on one’s health.
