It indeed very much is.
It can get pretty insane actually. Did you know that a few years ago an American tourist was detained for 2 months and deported from the country for having traces of marijuana in his blood?
He had legally smoked it back in the U.S. before leaving and somehow got arrested for absolutely no fault of his. He went into the hospital seeking treatment for an illnesss, and that's when they found out he had drugs in him.
Imagine not even committing a crime but being arrested for having traces of it on you.... for something that is completely legal in another country!
Something to ponder upon while you're admiring the jaw dropping views from the Burj Khalifa.... ;-)
