Movie makers have been doing this since forever to capture the imagination of growing children. Why anyone would carry those ideas with them after a certain age is beyond me.

I was equally capitulated by these "holier than thou" creatures of the forest in childhood, but now that I've become a trek organizer, I've been introduced to the not so groovy and shiny parts of nature, something that Disney movies or movies in general never show.
