Same here. When I lived in an independent house, my ears would constantly be peeled for the smallest of sounds coming from the road in front of my house. Every the smallest of noises would get my antenna up, even if it happens to be the municipality workers there just to clean the road and take care of garbage.

I just couldn't sleep properly in that house. Now I'm back to living with my family, and I have best sleep ever every single day. Any noise is either coming from inside the apartment itself or some home improvement from the apartment upstairs, or the walking track on the ground floor where kids and adults hang around during the evenings.
