This kind of puts you in the psychological dilemma of whether to continue hanging out with your friends or not. Because you've been on both sides of the fence, you know how it feels. But you don't know how they'd behave if they were in your place.

Some of my best friends whom I've been used to hanging out with expected me to just "understand" when they found the love of their lives and didn't have a second to spare for me. These people have very conveniently forgotten that bridges are not supposed to be burnt lest you need to walk back the same way again.

I only wonder what such people do when they get dumped and have no one else to hang with coz they ghosted all their friends when their relationship was on, and are now lonely all of a sudden.

Same thing for marriage and family.
