A radical choice in a world where everyone toes the line

TW: Mentions of suicide and death

Introduction

In a world that’s getting increasing hostile, dangerous, and intolerant by the day, many people have started doubting the legitimacy of the mainstream path and have begun questioning whether it still leads to the stability and riches that it once did to before.

As we continue pushing the environmental limits of this planet, and overpopulation and its attendant issues continue to throw everything out of gear, people have started realizing the importance of being financially free and secure more than ever before. There’s a huge difference between going out to hustle and earn one’s bread when the environment is conducive to it as opposed to unconducive and hostile the way it is today.

Imagine braving all the extreme weather events, the mile long traffic snarls, all the road works and infrastructure upgradation works, the people cutting you off on the road every single day and the ones who indulge in public acts of violence, the cost of living crisis, office politics, tyrannical bosses, and snarky colleagues only to go to a job where loyalty isn’t even valued anymore. Throw in an unstable marriage and truant kids for good measure.
